something weird- the day i saw The Firebending Masters happened to be the day i debuted my half-eyebrows that so resemble the Sun Warrior chief's.

but ironically, Sokka and Zuko are the only members of the Gaang for whom a boiling lake would be a problem. Katara could freeze the water or push it away, Toph could make a land bridge, and Aang could fly over it. anyway, i been ing those boys.
heh. Zuko and Sokka were accused of 'cuddling'.
also, 'fire fists and hot squats'.
also, Zuko said 'fluffy'.
also, Sokka being all, are you happy now?, and Zuko saying "I'm never happy".
and Sokka saying, 'my first girlfriend turned into the moon', and Zuko saying 'that's rough, buddy'.

anyway, tonight, after bonding with Sokka last night and Aang the night before and failing at bonding with Toph the night before that, Zuko will bond with Katara.

wow, new dA. mixed feelings on my part; it speeds up significantly the browsing of your deviations, but that seems to discourage commenting...anyway. last night's Avatar.

first of all? Zuko. so adorable. animals really seem to like him. and i really like this world's animals. how cute was the 'Zuko here' bit? and his impressions are brilliant. i don't usually praise English voice actors, but Zuko's voice actor did a pretty good job with the impressions and the young flashback!Zuko. yes i noticed. and the 'i'm so old' sigh after the flashback. seems like Zuko is a boy now, rather than the cool-yet-conflicted aristocrat who was engaged to Mei.
he seemed to get rather moist in this episode. first he got licked by Appa-twice-and then Katara waterbent at him, then he sweated a bit when she was considering whether to let him into the group.
some great lines too. Sokka talking about Zuko covering himself in honey to get licked...and the bit about Combustion Man ("well, that's not his name, but..."). also Sokka's "it's MY throatal flap!"
Sokka, by the way, may be a bit clueless sometimes, but he's a strategic GENIUS when it comes to calculating boomerangle.
and again, the minor characters conveniently disappear! and the bit about Jeong Jeong? was that foreshadowing? i liked how Toph, who's actually quite mature, was like, "who's-never mind; i'll find out if it's important". but why didn't she mention Iroh? isn't she worried about him? isn't Sokka worried about Suki?
seems like Aang's eyebrows were blacker in this episode. it also seems Sokka and Katara have kept their Fire Nation-inspired hairdoe. i like Aang and Zuko's outfits, but i dunno about how the noses, especially Katara's, were drawn. this could all be in my head, by the way...
speaking of all in my head, this episode seemed to have something for all the shippers. Aang x Zuko fans, obviously, and Toph x Zuko fans. i also liked the energy, or tension, or dynamic, or whatever (too busy listening to the dolls to worry about eloquence) between Sokka and Zuko. there was also Katara taking care of Toph, and a hint of Katara x Zuko and/or Katara x Aang at the end. though i've never thought Zuko had any chemistry with Kat, i could be persuaded to get into K x A x Z. it would go with Sokka x Suki x Toph and Azula x Ty Lee x Mei.
anyway. tonight Zuko and Aang dance (only about two hours 'til then!). if you try to stop me from watching i'll go all Kirakishou and head-eat you. so. g'night.
